The Catastrophic Situation due to break of COVID 19 is a challange to the Society The Challenge can be nuteralised by coordinated joint efforts of all. As Government has requested citizen to stay at home and not to venture out will constrain the employee to report for work, so employer may force the worker to go on leave

In a backdrop of such challenging situation, all the employers of private and public Establishment are requested not to terminate employees particularly causal or contract employee. If any worker is on leave he would be deemed to be in employment or if place of work is non operational due to COVID 19 the employee of such unit will be deemed to by working on duty

The Termination of Employee on Job or Reduction in wages in such scenario will deepen the crises and weaken the financial condition of employee and moral to fight COVID 19.

In his directive, State Labour commissioner Kalyankar asked the Joint and Deputy Labour Commissioners, mathadi (head-loaders) and security boards in all parts of the state to issue necessary advisories to the employers/owners of all establishments in their jurisdiction.
