Online Step to download 80G receipt for donation made to PM Cares Fund
PM Cares fund stands for Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund which was started on 28th March 2020, for tackling COVID-19 pandemic in India. The fund will be used majorly for combating, containment and relief efforts against the COVID-19 outbreak and any similar pandemic like situations in the future. The fund accepts micro donations which is a minimum of Rs. 1. The person paying donation in PM cares fund will get deduction under 80G for the FY 2019-20 if the donation is made before 30th June 2020. The Ministry of Corporate affairs also notified that the donation to PM Cares fund shall be classified as a part of CSR expense. The PAN no of PM cares fund is AAETP3993P.
Procedure to download 80G receipt from PM cares fund:
Below is the procedure to download receipt from PM cares fund:
Step 1: Go to https://www.pmcares.gov.in/en/
Under “Print Receipt” tab select the mode of donation i.e. Donations made using PM cares website or Donations made to PMCares@SBI using UPI app
Step 2: After above step you will redirect you to below page
Select the ISD code of your country from the drop down; now enter the mobile number and Transaction order number or Merchant order number which is received when the donation was made, in case Donations made to PMCares@SBI using UPI app enter the Bank Reference Number (RRN) .
Now click on “Get OTP” button.
You will receive OTP on the number provided
Enter the OTP and Click on “Submit to Get Receipt” button
After submission the receipt will get generated as below.
You can share the receipt on email or take print of the same.
